CIMA provides employee benefit plan services to hundreds of employers. Our clients have employees located throughout the United States, and internationally, and represent the full spectrum of businesses - from community service, nonprofit organizations to for-profit multinational corporations that have over 1,000 employees. Available services include:

  • Helping the client determine what benefits to provide, what plan design best provides those benefits, and how the plan should be funded (fully insured or partially self-insured).
  • Representing the client for underwriting and pricing negotiations with insurance carriers, and helping the client compare and evaluate alternative proposals.
  • Reviewing and analyzing premium and claim history, to identify trends and specific claims that might need attention, and to anticipate renewal strategy.
  • Reviewing the status of any claims being appealed, and working to ensure that they are settled expeditiously.
  • Assisting in all aspects of employee communication concerning the benefit plan.
  • Monitoring health care and workers' compensation claims on a coordinated basis, to prevent overlap of treatment or claims payment.
  • Helping the client develop human resources policies and procedures that complement the employee benefit program.
  • Assisting in compliance with various government requirements such as the Form 5500 required by the Internal Revenue Service for retirement plans, COBRA, Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Americans With Disabilities Act.
  • Providing administrative services related to Section 125 Flexible Spending Accounts.
  • Conducting employee attitude surveys regarding benefits.
